I met this girl, Courtney, about a year ago and we started to “date” on the internet. She and I have never met before and lately she’s been saying she wants to meet in person. She is constantly sending me IMs and stuff like that. Is she a pedophile? We both say we love each other and I really feel for her. Is this wrong?

soo.. this is wicked difficult
i have been having this relationship with a 62 year old man for a year.. my parents just found out.
i love him he says he loves me
I’m confused and i truly think he isnt like the other pedophiles ..
maybe im wrong

i have a teacher that comletments mine&my friends clothes its real scary.
alot of other stuff like my friend he said she look=s like a spring flowerr:(
wow it scaryyyyy:( then he tell use opur hair and other stuff looks nice
then somtimes he tell us to saty after school but we make up an excus:(
but i hate going to that class he also acts gay!!!

Being a parent is so much harder than it used to be. In the past, people had their kids with them on the farm or in the shop. Maybe they went to a local little school, where the parents knew the teacher well. Other people, especially police, teachers, and clergy, worked with parents to reinforce parental authority.Now there’s the downloaded music and video, MTV, cell phones and online social networking with inappropriate pictures and texting, more broken homes, more strangers, more undermining of parental authority. We’re encouraged to hand our kids over to strangers, sex offenders, paedophiles for the majority of the day from the earliest ages. The police are busy with gangbangers. As for me, I constantly struggle with the balance of watching out for my kid when she go online. I even istalled internet filter Ez Internet Timer http://www.internettimer.net It helps me control Internet usage for my kid.
